Every case in our process is signed by a licensed attorney under that attorney's own retainer. That is what protects the firms who receive it.
Why an originating firm matters
When a firm works with a marketing vendor, the firm is responsible for how that vendor conducts itself. ABA Model Rule 5.3 makes lawyers accountable for the nonlawyers they work with. The safest structure is one where a licensed attorney is involved before a client ever signs, not after.
That is why our process is built around an originating law firm. The originating firm supervises client acquisition, controls the retainer agreement, and holds the attorney-client relationship from the moment of signing. Net Point Labs runs the advertising, intake, and technology under that supervision.

Our originating firm is The Marcowitz Law Firm PLLC. Attorney Eddie Marcowitz sets the qualification standards our intake follows, approves the retainer used for every signed client, and remains attorney of record at signature.

Eddie Marcowitz grew up on Staten Island and worked full-time pressing shirts while he put himself through Touro Law Center, graduating in 1991. He has spent more than three decades representing seriously injured people and their families. His practice includes representing 9/11 responders and survivors harmed by World Trade Center toxic exposure, and he serves as the personal attorney to the family of NYPD Detective James Zadroga, for whom the federal 9/11 health and compensation law is named. He led a pro bono effort on behalf of 9/11 widows that recovered $280 million for them, with no legal fees charged. He has been named a Super Lawyer for eight consecutive years and recognized among the Nation's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators.
